Go by window size and the look you want. The 25mm aluminium slat suits most standard windows and stacks into a slim bundle when raised; the 50mm Styrowood slat carries the proportions of a timber venetian and looks right on larger windows and doors. We bring both to the measure so you can decide at the window itself.
Are venetian blinds a good choice for bathrooms and kitchens?
They are the blind we recommend first for those rooms. Steam and splashes sit on the sealed slats rather than soaking in, so there is nothing to stain, warp or grow mould. The 50mm Styrowood slat handles the same conditions if you would rather have a timber look over the bath.
How do venetians handle Gauteng dust?
